A colourful two tier cake for a young artist, finished in ivory buttercream and swept with broad palette knife strokes in bright pink, violet, turquoise and yellow, flicked with fine gold dots and trimmed with a painted gold band at each tier. Standing on top is a hand modelled fondant artist in a pink apron with her brush raised and her palette in hand, beside a little easel holding a heart painted canvas, a jar of fondant brushes, two paint tubes and scattered sugar pearls. The piped greeting across the upper tier is personalised to order. A lovely centrepiece for a child who loves to draw and paint.
